Phase 1: 10-day demo (it works, or it's free). We spend 10 days building a working prototype of the agreed flow: real code, not slides. If the test meets your expectations on day ten and you decide to move forward, the cost of the demo comes straight off the final quote. If it doesn't get there, or it doesn't convince you, you don't pay a cent: no deposit taken, nothing to claim back.
Phase 2: Guaranteed outcome on the final build. Once the full project starts, deadlines and requirements are locked in. If the agreed target isn't hit on schedule, we keep building at our own expense, entirely on our own, until the platform works exactly as promised.
